About & Tour

You're sitting on a mountain of bugs and issues. There's so many, you don't even know where to start, but you have to start somewhere. Working through this list is one of Sifter's strong points.

Managing Issues

It's rarely fun to swim through issue after issue and constantly work on resolving them, so we've done our best to make sure Sifter gets out of the way and just lets you work.

Filtering & Sorting

You can create your own custom issue lists based on issue priority, category, assignee, opener, or status. (Figure 1)Then you can sort them the way you want so that you're only seeing the issues you need to work.

Frequently Used Filters

Have a certain filtering and sorting combination that you like? Bookmark it. You can safely bookmark any of your issue listing pages and know that they'll still be filtered and sorted just like you left them. It's not fancy. It just works.

Part of managing that workload is knowing where to focus. The issue listing screens give you easily recognizable flags (Figure 2) so that you know which issues are important and pressing and which ones can wait until tomorrow.

Smart Auto-return

Just updated an issue? Where to next? Anytime you edit or update an issue from a page that you've already filtered and sorted, Sifter will bring you right back to that page. (Figure 3) That way, you never have to skip a beat.
